What’s the Story Behind the Art?

I’m Emily Louise Heard, an abstract artist from Wales, driven by a desire to express profound emotions that words often fail to capture. After becoming a mother and experiencing post-natal depression, I returned to my art with a renewed sense of purpose, aiming to create serenity amidst the sometimes overwhelming and hectic experience of parenthood and busy family life. My work explores emotions as a cathartic experience, inspired by nature and the elements, reflecting a beauty richer than we can perceive.
